ADDRESSES FOR SOME AVAILABLE DEVICES
Sending commands to and retrieving data from measurement instruments is
done through the SCSI controller.
In order to address devices to either talk or listen, they must be
referred to by their bus addresses.
Each device must have a unique address. This address must be a two-digit
decimal number (for example 5 is referred to as 05) varying from 00 to 31.
Address 21 is usually reserved for the SCSI488.
The addresses for some of the instruments are as follows:
Device

TEK820 oscilloscope..............................01
TEK420 oscilloscope..............................02
HP34401 Multimeter..............................05
HP54510 Digitizing oscilloscope...........07

The addresses for the rest of the devices can be easily found by selecting
the system/GPIB/address keys from the front panel.
