ECE1385H Selected Topics in VLSI Systems: Semiconductor Memory Design
This is a graduate-level course in semiconductor memory design. This course was offered during Spring term of 2000.
Course Description:
This course is devoted to the circuit and systems aspects
of semiconductor memory design. Topics covered are: Static
and Dynamic RAM cell design, sensing and timing strategies,
performance estimation, and system organization strategies.
In addition, ferroelectric memories and application
specific memory structures are studied.
Prerequisite:
ECE 1388H, VLSI Design Methodology
Course credit is not available to students who have taken
ELE/ECE 1385H with same course subtitle.
