I'm currently pursuing my PhD degree at the
University of Toronto, Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering. I am a member of the Computer
Engineering Research Group and my supervisor is Professor Tarek
S. Abdelrahman.
Research
My general research interests are computer architecture,
compilers and FPGAs. As a result, my Master's thesis project was
a blend of many areas: parallel computer architectures,
parallelizing compilers, high-performance embedded systems,
and FPGA architectures and applications.

Academic Background
I defended my Master's thesis at the University of Toronto
in April 2008. Prior to coming to Canada,
I received my Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Electrical
Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb. I've
completed my Bachelor's
thesis project in the RIS group, which is coordinated by Professor Sinisa
Srbljic.

Ice Hockey. Discovering the real Canadian spirit. I usually play with HockeyToronto.
Swimming. Currently, my favorite place for immersion is the pool at the Hart House. Although, my innate place is The Adriatic Sea. Well, you'll just have to check for yourself.
Soccer, Ice Hockey, Swimming, ...
Soccer, naturally. I play intramural leagues at the UofT for
engineering and SGS teams. Also, I play indoor leagues at the
SoccerWorld
Polson Pier.
