**Special Update**

The abstract submission deadline for poster presentations only has been extended to 11:59 pm on Tuesday April 29th. Acceptance notifications will be issued on a rolling basis. If you require poster printing services, you must still adhere to the Thursday May 1st deadline for providing us with the digital poster file.

Call for Submissions

ECE graduate students at the University of Toronto are invited to submit abstracts of maximum 200 words, outlining state-of-the-art research at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The work can be recently-published, and students may use existing posters or presentations from conferences; however, the objective is to clearly communicate the research to a multidisciplinary audience rather than to technical experts. Students may also choose to present an overall summary of work done in their research group, or a research proposal.

All presenting students will receive tickets to the Intel networking dinner ($45 value), and will be candidates for our two main symposium awards ($75 cash award + certificate of commendation, presented by Intel ). We will also be happy to provide free printing services for any poster submissions that are selected.

Due to time and space constraints, the number of submissions we can accommodate is limited. Selection will be based on the quality and clarity of the abstract, with a preference being given to multidisciplinary or collaborative work.
